Benedict the Fox has two pumpkins and a bunch of cornstalks, and wears a removable scarf. He is knit using worsted weight yarn (14 wpi) and measures approximately 7.5″/19 cm from his feet to the tips of his ears.

YARN (I use Eco Butterfly’s Pakucho Organic Cotton Worsted)

  • 40 g Color A for body, head, tail, arms
  • 13 g Color B white for chest, face, tail
  • 10 g Color C for paws, tips of ears
  • 10 g Color D for scarf
  • 30 g Color E pumpkins, corn cobs
  • 20 g Color F for cornstalks
  • Small amount of green for pumpkin stems

NEEDLES

  • US size 3 (3.25 mm) dpns or size required to obtain gauge

OTHER SUPPLIES

  • 15 mm safety eyes
    15 mm safety nose

GAUGE

  • 11.5 sts and 16 rows per 2″
