Description
This cropped cat sweater is made out of a vintage 100% cotton cat blanket, and a thrifted cotton bedsheet!
The fit of this cropped sweater is a size SMALL/MEDIUM, but please thoroughly check the specific measurements before purchasing!
(please note: the fit tends to be more of a roomy size small, and more of a fitted size medium!)
Length: 17″
Chest (laying flat): 20″
Hem (laying flat): 20″
Arms: 23″
This cropped cardigan does not have any front closure and is meant to be worn open and loose! I quilted the front panels, sandwiching 100% cotton interfacing in between two pieces of cotton fabric, making it super soft and a bit more insulated! The quilted panels give it more of a formed shape, and it wears similar to a blazer.
Blue 100% cotton bias tape runs down the front of the cardigan, and multi-colored floral bias tape lines the bottom edge and the sleeve.
The sleeves of this cardigan are made out of matching orange fabric, but since they are not quilted, they’re more light, airy, and flexible. There is a soft, multi-colored cotton fringe sewn around the neckline and bottom edge of the cardigan that I think gives it the perfect orange-cat-activity vibes!
If the beautiful warm autumn orange wasn’t enough, the sweet orange cat on the back panel of this cropped sweater definitely seals the deal — it’s an adorable and super comfortable wear for any occasion!
I aim to create durable, long-lasting items, but to ensure that you get the longest lifespan possible from your purchased product, please follow the provided care instructions:
Washing: handwash, or wash on a gentle, cool cycle with like colors.
Do not bleach.
Drying: dry on a delicate machine setting, or tumble dry on low (drying in a machine ensures that your cotton fringe stays soft and fluff!).
Please remember that all of my garments are lovingly handmade out of vintage, thrifted, and/or repurposed material. Each finished piece has its own idiosyncrasies that make it unique and truly one of a kind! There won’t be any exact duplicates of one sweater or coat!
